Messages/Chats​

  1. Click on the 'Messages' Icon: Locate and click on the 'Messages' icon in the portal to access your message center. When you have an unread message, a red dot will appear on the 'Messages' icon to alert you. Additionally, if you have allowed notifications, your browser will notify you of new messages,
      
Messages are sent at a company level; the jobseeker will not know with whom they are speaking with from the company
  1. View Messages and Conversations: A list of messages sent and ongoing conversations will be displayed here. Review your message history and current threads.
      
  1. Start a New Conversation: To initiate a conversation with a jobseeker not currently on the list, search for the jobseeker, then select 'Send a Message' on their profile to start a new chat.
       
  1. Attach Files: You can attach relevant files related to job opportunities directly within the message to share additional information with jobseekers.
  2. Set Up Video Chat: Click on the ‘Phone’ icon to set up an instant video chat for both you and the jobseeker. Use the portal’s video chat feature to speak with them.
       
  1. Follow Portal Guidelines: Ensure that your communication adheres to the portal’s guidelines and best practices for effective and professional interactions.
